a- Women have come a long way in the last 100 years, but still face a lot challenges. (present perfect /voix active)

b- The suffragettes started campaining for the right to vote in public elections in the late 19th and early 20th centuries  (prétérit / voix active)

c- In Great Britain, in 1928,  women were given equal voting rights. (preterit de la voix passive)

d- Although women have fought for equality for years, their situation has hardly evolved. (present perfect voix active)

e- Over the last decades, income gasps were narrowed  but on average womenstill earn 20% less than men. .....(preterit de la voix passive)
